A Simple Hot–Cold Water Procedure with Real Results

What the Method is

The Kneipel Method is a structured contrast hydrotherapy cycle:

Warm water helps open your blood vessels.

Cold water to close them.

Repeat a few times

This back-and-forth helps your blood vessels open and close better. It trains your circulation.

Basic Starter Cycle (Feet Immersion Example)

HOW THE HOT–COLD CYCLE WORKS

01

Get ready with Warm and Cold Water

Have two temperatures ready: comfortably warm (not hot) and cool to cold (tolerable, not extreme).

We offer an automated option for water control!

02

Start in the Warm Water

Immerse your feet in warm water for 2–5 minutes. Allow the body to relax and circulation to open.

03

Switch to Cold Water

Move your feet to cold water for 10–30 seconds. It should feel stimulating, not painful. Expect some tingling.

04

Alternate and Repeat

Repeat the cycle 2–3 times:

Warm → Cold → Warm → Cold.

Keep warm phases longer, cold phases short.

05

Finish in Cold Water

Always end with cold water. This triggers the circulatory response and energizing effect.

06

Let the Body React

Allow your body to dry and warm itself naturally. You may feel spreading warmth, clarity, and better circulation.

WHY IT IMPROVES HEALING

Each temperature shift creates a vascular pump effect:

Warm → Blood vessels expand → Increased blood flow
Cold → Blood vessels contract → Blood pushed inward
Repeat → Enhanced circulation and oxygen transport

This improves:
• Nutrient delivery
• Waste removal
• Tissue recovery
• Reduced inflammation

Our Development Journey

Phase 1 — Manual Foundations

We began with the simplest possible setup:

• Two buckets
• Manual timing
• Testing and recording body reactions

This allowed us to understand the ideal setup, the steps in the procedure, and feel the real results.

Phase 2 — Market Machine Evaluation

We tested available devices on the market:

• Hot foot massage systems

• Cold therapy recovery units

These products serve their purpose, but are not designed for hot–cold cycle therapy.

Through testing and analysis, we studied temperature control, switching speed, comfort, and safety — and found ways to simplify the process with preset temperatures and timing.

Phase 3 — Prototyping

We are now designing a unified Kneipel system with smart electronic controls (PCB based) to:

• Automatically alternate between hot and cold

• Control precise timing cycles

• Maintain stable and safe temperatures

• Stay simple, practical, and accessible

Purpose

To give people access to a hot–cold therapy in a simple, affordable, and reliable system for improving our health.
